AdOverwatch is operated by Adverge Media LLC. This page explains how to delete the data we hold about you, including any data obtained from Meta (Facebook / Instagram) through the Meta Graph API.

Option 1 — Delete your account from the dashboard

1. Sign in to your dashboard as an agency admin.
2. Go to Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your agency, its users, and all ad data synced from Meta are deleted immediately.

Team members who are not admins can ask their agency admin to remove them, or use Settings → Privacy & Data to export a copy of their data first.

Option 2 — Disconnect Meta only

1. Sign in as an agency admin.
2. Go to Admin → Integrations → Meta and click Disconnect.
3. The stored access token and connected Facebook user ID are removed and syncing stops. Previously synced ad performance data stays in your dashboard until you delete your account (Option 1) or request deletion (Options 3 or 4).

Option 3 — Remove the app from your Facebook account

1. Open Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
2. Find AdOverwatch and click Remove.
3. Choose the option to also delete the data the app holds. Facebook notifies us automatically; we revoke the token and delete the Meta data we hold, then show you a confirmation code on this page.

Option 4 — Email us

Send an email to hello@adoverwatch.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and the email address on your account. We will confirm your identity, complete the deletion, and reply within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your user profile (name, email, password hash, two-factor settings).
• Meta access tokens and the Facebook user ID connected to your agency.
• Ad account IDs, campaign names, and all performance metrics synced from Meta.
• Reports, goals, alerts, and AI insights derived from that data.

Audit and security logs that do not contain Meta data are retained for up to 180 days as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion from live systems is immediate; backups are purged within 30 days.
